Akshay Kumar Rewarded Housefull 4 Co-Stars For Punctuality On Set Resulting In The Film Wrapping Up In Just 65 Days!

Akshay Kumar apart from being a box office game changer is also an extremely punctual actor and any filmmaker in the industry would easily vouch for discipline. The actor, however, took it upon himself to make his Housefull 4 co-stars cooperate on the punctuality front leading the shoot schedule to wrap up in just 65 days instead of the originally planned 90 days schedule.

Now there’s no doubt that a multi-starrer like Housefull 4 will face difficulty in bringing the entire cast together at the same time, but according to reports Akshay found a way around this and rewarded punctual behavior.

According to a source quoted by DNA India, “All the actors knew that working with Akshay meant there would be early morning shifts and they were mentally prepared. Also, he used to get surprise gifts and delicious food for those who all came on time. He would casually ask the co-stars about their favourite goodies and dishes, and the next day, bring them as a surprise. It was his way of making sure that his habit of starting morning shifts did not become a punishment for them.”

The incentive program may be news, but Akshay’s punctuality isn’t and for someone like Akshay who releases nearly three to films a year this kind of dedication is certainly called for.

The plus side for makers was wrapping up the film schedules much earlier than anticipated. Director Fahad Shammji also added that the cast’s punctual routine made the shoot effortless.

 It looks like every film set can benefit from having someone as efficient as Akshay if this is the result.

Housefull 4 is locked for a theatrical release this Diwali, 26 October. The film also stars Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde.
