Akshay Kumar Signs Yet Another Film, To Reunite With Ekta Kapoor

Akshay Kumar has been on a film signing spree for a very long time. The actor had four releases in 2019, has three in 2020 after Bachchan Pandey was pushed to 2021 to give Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha a solo release and haws three films lined up for 2021 as well. Looks like the actor has added one more film to his kitty.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Akshay his signed yet another film and this would be an action comedy that would release in the second half of 2021. The film will also mark his reunion with producer Ekta Kapoor with whom he had collaborated for Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara. A source close to the production said, “Akshay signed the film around 10 days ago. The logistics are currently being worked out and the script is being finalised. It will be directed by a debutant and mounted on a lavish scale. Like all his films, Akshay will complete this one too in a start-to-finish schedule.”

Akshay Kumar would be seen In Sooryavanshi, that will release on 24^th March followed by Laxxmi Bomb in Eid and Prithviraj in Diwali. His first film next year would be Bachchan Pandey, followed by Bell Bottoms and Atrangi Re. We hope that the official announcement of this project is made soon too!
