    Akshay Kumar has sued a YouTuber for Rs. 500 crores in damages after his channel named the actor in a fake video in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The YouTuber alleged that Akshay helped Sushant’s girlfriend actress Rhea Chakraborty, who was named as the prime accused by the deceased actor’s family, escape to Canada.

    Rashid Siddiqui who has been sued by Akshay was earlier arrested by the police after he dragged Aaditya Thackeray’s name into the case with false accusations. Not just this a Mid-Day report claims that Rashid saw a rapid increase in followers over the months after began posting videos on Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and made over Rs. 15 lakhs through his channel in these months.

    The report also claims that the YouTuber in his videos made a series of allegations about Akshay and apart from the false claims of helping Rhea escape it was also said in these videos that the actor was in touch with Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackrey secretly about the case and also did not like that Sushant had bagged M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.

    Rashid is a 25-year-old civil engineer and his YouTube channel is called FF News. With just videos on Sushant’s death, his followers on the channel grew from 1 lakh to over 3.70 lakh subscribers. His reported income from the channel in the month of May was Rs. 256 while in September his earnings stood at Rs 6,50,898. Rashid is currently out on anticipatory bail and has been asked to comply with the police.
