    The true Khiladi of Hindi cinema, Akshay Kumar is currently soaring high on the success of his recent release Good Newwz. The comedy-drama released on 27th December and also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in lead roles. The actor will now begin gearing up for his upcoming projects which include Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Sooryavanshi opposite Katrina Kaif, historical period drama Prithviraj and the much-awaited horror-comedy Laxmmi Bomb alongside Kiara Advani.


    The first look of Laxmmi Bomb, which featured Akshay in a red saree with a fierce look on his face, created quite a stir on social media. According to the buzz, he will be playing the character of a man possessed by the spirit of a transgender. In a recent interview with Mid Day, the actor opened up about the same and shared, “I am comfortable in a saree and had no problem shooting in it. I love doing tricky stuff.” He went on to add, “It is one of the most difficult characters I have played. I had to internalise the character and get the body language right.”

    Akshay is one of the most versatile actors of Bollywood and has done many different films in his 28 year long career. When asked how he chooses scripts, he shared there is no particular rule. He said, “I was advised by many biggies of this industry to not to do Toilet: Ek Prem Katha [2017] or PadMan [2018], but the results are for everyone to see. If it is a good film that can make a difference to society, I am game.”
