Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj, Ranbir Kapoor's Shamshera and YRF's other films get a release date as theatres open in Mumbai

Since 2020, audiences have been waiting to catch their favourite superstars back in action on the big screen. While the entertainment did not go down even during the pandemic- thanks to the OTT platforms, it could in no way match the excitement of watching films on 70mm. And now, as the Maharastra government gave the nod to reopen theatres in Mumbai, release dates are coming in.

It has been confirmed that Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi will hit theatres this Diwali and clash with Eternals. Now, YRF has revealed the release date of four of its much-awaited films. These include Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2, Manushi Chillar debut film with Akshay Kumar- Prithviraj, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor starrer Shamshera. While Bunty Aur Babli 2 will release this year, the rest of the three are slated for next year. Check out their exact release date here:

Bunty Aur Babli 2- 19th November 2021
Prithviraj- 21st January 2022
Jayeshbhai Jordaar- 25 February 2022
Shamshera- 18 March 2022

Apart from these, other production houses will also announce the release date of their upcoming films soon. The audience can expect the announcement of '83 and Antim: The Final Truth soon. Well, looks like it's time to head back to the theatres!
