Alaya F Says She Supports The Nepotism Debate; Calls Jawaani Jaaneman Co-Star Saif Ali Khan Amazing

Pooja Bedi’s beautiful daughter Alaya Furniturewala made her debut in the Hindi film industry this year with Jawaani Jaaneman, alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. The film followed the story of a 40 year old playboy who refuses to grow up. However, his life takes an interesting turn when he meets his 21 year old daughter for the first time. Not only did Alaya win hearts with her charming smile and fresh screen presence, she also wowed the audience with her acting skills.

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, the star kid shared her thoughts on the famous nepotism debate and her statement is sure to leave you surprised. Alaya shared, “For me it’s really never been about proving anything to anyone, it’s more proving things to myself. I put so much pressure on myself, I’ve questioned myself. I’m a big supporter of this nepotism debate, to be honest. I love when people ask questions, I love when people want to discuss things and argue things in a respectable manner. I am all for conversation. So when people do talk about it, I appreciate it. Because why the hell should I be here, until I prove myself. So I’ve always just focused very hard on just working very, very hard.”

The beauty also opened up about working with Saif and shared, “My experience of working with Saif sir was so good. Honestly, I’ve said this in so many interviews. I just love working with him. I think he’s an amazing man and I think he’s an amazing actor. Just this morning I was on Youtube and I was thinking what to watch and I got a suggestion for Gallan Kardi so then I started watching it and the other songs from Jawaani Jaaneman. I was looking at them and I was reliving those memories just this morning and I was thinking how I miss everyone and everything so much.”

Many reports had suggested that Alaya will be sharing the big screen with Ayushmann Khurrana in his next film titled Stree Rog Vibhag. However, the actress denied these reports with a simple ‘No’. Well, we are eagerly waiting to see her shine in theatres again!
