Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor To Tie The Knot In 2021; Actress Approached Sabyasachi To Design Her Wedding Lehenga

Ranbir Kapoor’s girlfriend and actress Alia Bhatt has been a constant at most of Kapoor Khandan’s family events. In fact, many fans have even started calling her ‘Kapoor Bahu’. The question is, when will we finally hear wedding bells? Well rumors earlier suggested that Alia and Ranbir will be tying the nuptial knot in December this year. However, latest reports state that the couple have pushed all their plans to get married to next year.

COVID-19 lockdown was the reason behind Richa Chadha-Ali Fazal and Varun Dhawan-Natasha Dalal’s weddings being postponed. However, a report shared by TOI reveals that Alia and Ranbir’s decision has not been made just because of the coronavirus pandemic, but is also affected by their professional commitments which will keep them occupied in the coming months. So the couple will now, hopefully, get hitched in 2021.

The report also suggests that Alia had even approached famous designer Sabyasachi, who was chosen by Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan and Anushka Sharma for their bridal attires, to design her wedding lehenga. However, the plans have now been put on hold. Well, as we eagerly wait to see Alia in her bridal trousseau, we’ll have to make do with her rare snaps with boyfriend Ranbir. But we are not complaining!
