Today seems to be a day when everyone associated with Student Of The Year is going to get emotional. And why not-today, the film has turned 7 years, which also implies that the lead cast of Alia, Varun and Sidharth have all completed 7 years in the industry! Right in the morning, Karan Johar took to a social media site to express his emotions on this day. Now, his mentees too have penned heartfelt notes on this special day.

Taking to Twitter, all the three lead stars shared what SOTY really meant for them. Sidharth Malhotra shared a show reel of the friendships that bloomed during the filming of SOTY. He wrote, “That feeling of the first day on the sets, the nervousness & the excitement... it's all so fresh in my memories. Can’t believe it’s 7 years to #SOTY already! Grateful for the journey so far. Excited for what lies ahead. Thank you guys. Love & respect.”
