While Varun never openly discussed his love life before, he finally admitted that Natasha and he are a couple and plan on getting married soon on the 6^th season of Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. He blushed as he shared, “I'm dating Natasha. We are a couple. I plan to marry her.” While his female fans were slightly heartbroken, the love in his eyes truly filled our hearts with joy! KJo, on the other hand, got emotional as he replied, “I will feel that I'm giving my son away. I will play the K3G theme, meri saanson mein tu hai samaya. Mera jeevan toh hai tera saaya. And Lali, me and David ji will have an aarti plate.”

2. When Varun revealed what he loves about Natasha:

The fact that Natasha has her own ‘voice’ is very much admired by her boyfriend Varun. The actor had stated, “I’m with her because she has her own individuality, she has her own voice which is super strong with things she wants to do and things she wants to achieve in life. And, as her partner, that is something I want to support. And, she has been so supportive where my career is concerned, always, from day one actually.” In a chat with Bollywood Life, he had also added, “Where me and Natasha are concerned, I think, eventually, after we get married, we are together all that stuff, she has to, she has her own individuality.”

3. When Varun shared how close Natasha is to his family:

The actor had missed Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding, which was a star-studded affair, as he was busy shooting for Street Dancer 3D. However, Natasha had attended the event with his parents David and Lali Dhawan. Sharing a picture of the three, Varun had joked, “My parents gave up on me and adopted another.” Opening up about how Natasha is a part of the family now, Varun had shared, “She and I went to school together. So, she knows my parents since ages. She’s been attending functions with my parents before also but it wasn’t photographed then. She’s my rock, she’s my anchor. She’s the stabilising factor in my life. It’s pretty much like family.”

In a conversation with Filmfare, Varun had revealed that it’s because of Natasha that he decided to do films like Badlapur and October, which feature some of his best performances ever. He stated, “Actually, I decided to do a film like 'Badlapur' or 'October’ because of her. It's because of her and some of our friends that I do slightly different films. They like such kind of cinema”.

5. When Varun shared what is the most special thing about their relationship:

The fact that Natasha loves Varun for who he truly is is what makes their relationship beautiful. Varun had shared, “What's special about our relationship is that I have someone, who isn't with me just because I'm an actor. It's amazing to have someone like that in your life. We bond over each other and that's the main thing. We've known each other for too long, so the connection is deep. It's like family. It's always been so.”

Just like their relationship evolved over the years, Varun wants Natasha and him to evolve as a couple together. He had stated, “Because I have known her, we were in school together. We were just friends, we weren't dating then. But since day one she has been supportive of my dreams and it has to be the same. It has to be equal from my side.
