Amidst wedding rumours with Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal's cousin says 'the marriage is not taking place at the moment'

New details are emerging on a daily basis about Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s alleged December wedding. Right from the wedding venue to the guest list, every small details has been debated in the news over the past one month and for the first time, a family member from Vicky’s side has commented on these rumours.

Vicky Kaushal’s maternal cousin Dr Upasana Vohra was asked about the Sardar Udham actor’s impending wedding with is rumoured to take place in Rajasthan, in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar. Dr. Vohra has outright dismissed these rumours and said that there is no wedding in the family in December.

“Reports about preparations to the wedding dates are all rumours being spread in the media. The marriage is not taking place. If such a thing happens, they will announce it. In Bollywood, such rumours are often circulated and later it turns out that it was something else. They are just temporary rumours. I had a talk with my brother recently. There is nothing like that. I don't want to comment on this issue anymore, but the marriage is not taking place at the moment,” she told the publication while commenting on the wedding.

In the absence of an actual wedding announcement or confirmation from the actors themselves, it could very well mean that the family is trying to keep this wedding off the radar. While dismissing rumours about high profile weddings isn’t unheard of, fans will definitely have to wait till December to finally know the truth behind all these rumours.

Katrina and Vicky grand wedding is said to be taking place at the Sixth Senses Fort Barwara between December 7 to December 12.
