Amit Mistry Death: Raj And DK Are 'Devastated', Reveals He Was Currently Working For Their Project

Amit Mistry passed away today at the age of 47 after suffering from cardiac arrest. His death has left a void in the industry. The actor seamlessly stepped into his roles and has been an actor who we would constantly see in most of Raj and DK's projects. Needless to say, director duo Raj and DK have been heartbroken with the news.

Taking to their Twitter, they wrote how 'devastated' they have been. They tweeted, "Devastated that Amit Mistry is no more! He was very special to us! Kuber (99), Tipu (SITC), Jignesh (A Gentleman), Prakhaand Pandit (current series)...in every script of ours, we subconsciously wrote a part for him. Heartbroken! Every time we write a script, he will be missed :(" See the tweet here:

They also mentioned him to be a part of their current series and even shared his look from the same.

Talking to Bollywood Hungama, they revealed, “We have done three films with him before and he was also a part of our current series that we are producing and which is directed by Rahi Anil Barve (who also directed Tumbbad). Until just before this current lockdown, we were shooting with him.”

Not just this series, we will also see Amit Mistry one last time on the screens in Bhoot Police that also stars Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam and Arjun Kapoor. May his soul rest in peace.
