Talking to us, Amit revealed that the thought of quitting acting has occurred to him many times. He said, "Before Inside Edge was offered to me, I lost all hope and was about to give up. But then, Inside Edge happened and I think it's destiny, because of a lack of a better word. Every time such thoughts have arrived in my head, some work has been thrown into my lap which has kept me afloat and kept me from going away. And it's almost like magic happened to be that you just thought about giving up and something gets offered and it keeps you back. And it keeps you in the game. And it can only be called destiny- I'm supposed to be here and I'm supposed to be doing this. And that is the only reason why I'm able to do this."

Well, we are glad that he has been offered good parts at the right juncture, that kept him from going away because his recent performances are proof enough that he is one talented actor that we have seen in recent times. What's your favourite Amit Sial character? Let us know in the comments.
