Amitabh Bachchan Celebrates 15 Years Of Sarkar; Fans Shower Social Media With Their Favorite Scenes

While Bollywood’s shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan has starred in many super hit films in his 50 year long career, his performance in Sarkar is considered to be one of his finest works so far. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the political crime thriller is based on 1972's The Godfather and also features Abhishek Bachchan, Kay Kay Menon, Katrina Kaif and Anupam Kher. As the film completed 15 successful years on 1^st July, Big B took to his official social media handle to celebrate the milestone.

Not just the superstar, but even his fans showered social media with special posts remembering the masterpiece which introduced us to the phenomenal characters of Subhash Nagre (Big B), Shankar Nagre (Abhishek) and Vishnu Nagre (Kay Kay). While some fans recalled personal memories attached to the film, others shared clips of their favorite scenes from Sarkar. When he is imprisoned because of false charges accusing him of murdering a politician, his son steps into his shoes to protect him and their legacy. The film was the first installment of Sarkar film series, which includes Sarkar Raj and Sarkar 3.
