    Amitabh Bachchan Relives Harivansh Rai Bachchan's Last Moments On His Death Anniversary, Remembers Holding His 'Hand That Wrote Genius'

    Megastar and an emotional son Amitabh Bachchan remembered his father and legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan on the latter's death anniversary.

    Amitabh on Saturday night took to Twitter, where he shared a photograph of his father and a poem written on the image.


    He captioned the picture: "A few moments ago he had breathed his last... My Father... as I held his hand... soft... still vibrant... the hand that wrote genius..."

    He also wrote a cryptic tweet saying,” ... in the end we shall all end up as a picture on the wall .. if you're lucky !”

    Harivansh Rai Bachchan passed away on 18 January 2003.

    A few days back the actor also mourned the loss of his ‘samdhan’ Ritu Nanda who passed away in Delhi succumbing to cancer. On his blog her wrote for her, “...that silent knock at the work place .. the hurried expression of worried concern .. the hours that sleep in most parts of the World that seek the midnight .. shuffled steps , soft anxious and disturbed conversations .. and then within a blink .. the lights go out .. .. she has gone ..”

    On the acting front, Amitabh currently has four films in his kitty 'Chehre', 'Brahmastra', 'Jhund' and 'Gulabo Sitabo'.
