Amitabh Bachchan Reveals The Funny Story Behind His Marriage To Jaya; They Had Only Wanted To Go On A Holiday Together!

Has this ever happened to you that you had gone to your parents to ask for permission for a trip with one person from the opposite sex and they had asked you to get married first? Well, if this has happened to you, then you are not alone. Something similar had happened to even Big B, Amitabh Bachchan and that seems to be the reason why he actually got married to Jaya Bhaduri.

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are celebrating 47 years of togetherness. Taking to Twitter, the former revealed that he had decided to take a vacation to London with Jaya if Zanjeer was a hit. When he had gone to his parents for permission, they asked him to marry her first. And he obeyed! He wrote, “47 years .. today .. June 3, 1973 .. !! Had decided if 'Zanjeer' succeeded we, with few friends would go to London, first time, to celebrate .. Father asked who you going with ?
