KBC 12: Amitabh Bachchan Schools Contestant Who Wishes To Get Wife's Plastic Surgery Done With The Prize Money

Actor Amitabh Bachchan has often witnessed the struggle stories of several contestants in the history of Kaun Banega Crorepati. However, sometimes the veteran actor also gets surprised when he asks the contestants about what they’ll do if they get the winning amount from the game show. Recently, something similar happened when Amitabh Bachchan asked the same question to a contestant named Koshlendra Singh Tomar from Madhya Pradesh.

Koshlendra, who is the secretary of gram panchayat in his village, won the price amount of Rs 40,0000 on the show. However, the statement that Tomar made, which he later dismissed as a joke grabbed all the limelight in the episode, During the game, Amitabh asked him what he would do with the winning amount. To which Koshlendra replied, that at first, he would get plastic surgery done on his wife’s face. Astonished by his answer, Amitabh asked him: “Plastic surgery but why?” To that, Koshlendra reportedly said, “15 saal se ek he chehra dekh ke bore hogaya hoon (I am tired of seeing the same face for the past 15 years).”

When Koshlendra saw Amitabh’s reaction, he brushed it off by saying that said he was just joking. Meanwhile, Amitabh laughed it off and asked his wife to not listen to her husband,  but he also politely admonished Koshlendra and said that he should not say these things even as a joke.

Sony TV’s promo showed how Koshlendra is proudly referred to as the ‘superhero sachiv’ by the people of Gujerkhedi district. As per his opinion if the villages are provided with all the financial support and amenities then they all could live life with peace, health, and prosperity. Hence, he had also built a skill development center in his village and wants to spread the message of ‘going vocal for local’ through the show’s platform.
