Amitabh Bachchan Tests Positive For COVID-19; Shifted To Nanavati Hospital

The coronavirus pandemic has caused panic all over the world. Despite stringent measures being implemented in India, the number of cases has constantly been on the rise. And now, superstar Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for COVID-19.

The actor himself broke the news through his social media handle. Taking to his Twitter, he said that he has tested positive for corona and has been shifted to the hospital as well. The other members of his family are waiting for their results. He wrote, "T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !" Check out the tweet here:

Many celebs have commented on his post and wished for his speedy recovery. He has been admitted to Nanavati hospital. Amitabh Bachchan had been currently working on the latest season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. He had shot the promo at home. He had also been shooting for endorsements from home and had not gone out recently. We hope that none of the other members from his house tests positive and that Big B gets well soon!
