    Amitabh Bachchan Undergoes Cataract Surgery; Will Be Back Home Today

    Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has had a pretty hectic schedule as he has been shooting for his much awaited projects back to back. On Saturday, the superstar left his fans worried when he hinted that he needs to undergo a surgery due to his medical condition. On his personal blog, he wrote: “medical condition .. surgery .. can't write (sic).” Wishes started pouring in from all over social media and fans eagerly waited for more information as they were extremely worried about the actor’s health.

    Well, the latest report shared by Bollywood Hungama reveals that there is nothing to be worried about as Big B’s corrective surgery is already done. It was a two hour cataract operation and the superstar will be returning home today. A close friend of the actor was quoted saying, “It was nothing. Just laser eye surgery for the removal of a cataract. He was in and out of OT in no time at all. He will be home in the next 24 hours.” Nevertheless, we wish him a speedy recovery.

    On the work front, Big B has many exciting projects in the pipeline at the moment. He will next be seen in Rumi Jaffery’s mystery thriller Chehre, co-starring Emraan Hashmi. The film is all set to hit theatres on 30th April. Bachchan’s other projects include Jhund with Sairat fame Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru, Brahmāstra alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, and Mayday with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.
