    Amitabh Bachchan's Homes Jalsa, Janak Sanitised By BMC Officials, Notices Posted On Gates Marking Them Off As Affected

    Father and son, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday and were both admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital later in the evening.

    Confirming the news both Abhishek and Amitabh tweeted that they are both showing mild symptoms and have informed the authorities. The family members including Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Adraadhya Bachchan were also tested and their reports have come out negative.

    Both of Big B’s homes Prateeksha and Jalsa have been sanatised by the BMC official and notices have be pasted on the gates of both houses informing all that the houses been infected.

    Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said, "BMC has carried sanitisation of Amitabh Bachchan's residence today morning, and it has been declared as containment zone starting today. No-one will be allowed to enter or exit from the house. Mumbai Police has alos done barricading there. Only supply for essential items will be allowed."

    Pednekar added, "Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were tested last night using rapid antigen kit. Both have tested negative, but have been quarantined for 14 days. They will be again tested after their quarantine period is completed."

    Meanwhile, a statement issued by the Nanavati hospital confirms that Amitabh Bachchan is now stable while Abhishek is asymptomatic.
