Amrish Puri’s Grandson Vardhan Puri’s Debut Film Paagal Faces Objections From The Censor Board

Amrish Puri’s grandson Vardhan Puri’s debut vehicle Paagal which is being produced by his dad Rajeev Puri has met with some big boulders on its way to the silver screen! Well, the objections are from the censor board. Puris have been told that they have to change the title and even words like Paagal and Paagalpan from the film’s narrative!

Well, this isn’t and should not be a cause for concern for other filmmakers. This will not be happening if the word Paagal is used in the lighter context (pagal ho tum, Pagalpan Chodo) or even (Dil TO Pagal Hai, Mai tumhare Pyaar Mein Pagal). However, things would turn murky if the word is used in hinting at someone being lunatic.
