Ananya Panday questioned about supplying drugs to Aryan Khan based on an old WhatsApp chat; Actress denies allegations

 Ananya Panday for a second time appeared at the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for further questioning in the Aryan Khan related drug case. He was accompanied by Chunky Panday to the NCB office where they arrived at around 2:20 PM.

The actress was questioned for two hours on Thursday by the NCB after her house was raided and according to news reports she is being questioned about a chat that indicated to the anti-drug agency that she was supplying drugs to Shah Rukh’s son.

"The chats recovered from Aryan Khan's mobile phone reveal that in the year 2018-19, she helped supply drugs to Aryan thrice by providing him the numbers of drug dealers," NCB sources told ANI.

"Ananya denied the supply related talks in the chat conversation and told the NCB officials that she has never consumed or supplied the drugs," the source of the news agency added.

On Thursday, the NCB officials clarified that Ananya is not a suspect in the case but merely called in for questioning. There has been no clarification about what was recovered from her residence but her laptop and mobile have been seized for further investigation in the drug case in which one more suspect was arrested on Friday morning.
