Angad Bedi talks about Neha Dhupia losing work due to pregnancy; says ‘I have also been replaced in projects’

A while back, Neha Dhupia revealed that she was fired from projects when the makers got to know that she’s pregnant. The actress, who is currently expecting her second child with husband Angad Bedi, shared that she was asked to ‘step down’ and even when she suggested to work around it, the answer was a clear no. Behzad Khambata, director of her next film A Thursday, was the only one who decided to make changes in the script to portray her as a pregnant cop on-screen.

Well, in a recent interview with ETimes, Neha’s actor husband Angad opened up about the same and shared his thoughts on the situation. He was quoted saying, “It happens; I have also been replaced in projects. You have to raise up your chin and march forward. I have also had the opportunity to work with wonderful people. As far as getting replaced, it’s destiny. You are here for the long run and these are the things that you have to put behind you and move on.”

Neha and Angad welcomed their first child, daughter Mehr Dhupia Bedi, into the world in 2018. Back in July this year, the happy couple took to their social media handles to announce that they are expecting their second child together. Angad wrote: “New Home production coming soon.”
