Anil Kapoor Just Teased About The Possibility Of A Mubarakan 2 And We Don’t Know What To Say

Recently, Anil Kapoor took to Instagram to post a video to celebrate the second anniversary of his film Mubarakan. Starring Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz, Athiya Shetty and Neha Sharma, the film, let’s just say, was not a very ‘mubarak’ feeling for most.

But in the video, which also features Ileana and director Anees Bazmee along with Anil Kapoor, he teased us about the possibility of second installment. Even though it looked like he was joking, the possibility still seems real because Anees Bazmee has a thing for sequels, for example, Welcome and Welcome Back.

The film that came out in 2017 was a mad-cap comedy where Arjun Kapoor played twin brothers Karan and Charan who cannot tell their family about the girls they love and want to marry and Anil Kapoor playing their NRI uncle Kartar Singh who help the twins as things keep getting more and more complicated by them. The films was not appreciated by the critics and earned just a little above average at the box-office with a total collection of about Rs. 56 crores.
