Ankita Lokhande Returns To Social Media A Month After Sushant Singh Rajput's Death, Lights A Diya In Rememberance

It’s been a month since actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise and the his fans and colleagues in Bollywood are still in shock over his passing. The 34-year-old hanged himself in his apartment in Bandra on June 14 and did not leave behind any suicide note. Actress Ankita Lokhande, who dated the actor for nearly six years till they broke up in 2016, was shattered and has been missing from social media since.

A month later the actress has finally posted on Instagram a picture of a lit diya in her temple in remembrance and captioned the post, ‘child of god’ with a smiley face.  While several celebrities from Bollywood shared pictures and notes on social media shocked to hear of him dying, Ankita maintained radio silence.

She visited Sushsant’s home later to visit his parents and also attended a prayer meet held at Ekta Kapoor’s home looking truly shattered. Sushant’s father also revealed that she was the only one they knew Sushant dated and she had also visited their home in Patna.

Many of her friends during this duration revealed that she was shattered and wanted space to process what had happened. Sushant and Ankita worked together on TV show Pavitra Rishta where they started dating and were also in a live in relationship before parting ways.

Ankita is now in a relationship with businessman Vicky Jain while Sushant was allegedly dating Rhea Chakroborty.
