After watching Salman Khan shine on-screen in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, fans are now looking forward to the release of his next film, Antim: The Final Truth. The Mahesh Manjrekar directorial features the superstar in a never seen before avatar-- a Sikh police officer. Also starring Salman’s brother-in-law and actor Aayush Sharma as a gangster, Antim is all set to arrive in theatres on 26th November. It is an adaptation of Marathi film Mulshi Pattern, but Salman’s character is touted to be very different from the cop in the original action thriller. Well, in a recent media interaction, Salman revealed how different Antim is from Mulshi Pattern and how his cop character will be unlike any he has played in the past.

ETimes quoted him saying, “I could not play this character like ‘Dabangg’. Otherwise, I would be left doing ‘Dabangg’ only. This is a different film altogether. My character is very bound, he is very Hindustani and rugged. He doesn't yell or shout, he is very focused on what he is doing. He will take orders and be humiliated, but he will do what he needs to do at the right time. Even if he has to sacrifice a person, he will do it for what is right. This is what I liked about this character. In the Marathi film, they just had 4-5 scenes of him.”

Initially Antim was referred to as Aayush Sharma’s second film, after his big debut project Loveyatri. Back then, reports had suggested that Salman is playing a small role in the action thriller. However, later it was revealed that his screen time has been increased. Talking about the film and the characters, Salman revealed, “Everyone is saying this is Aayush's film. Aayush is in the film, but 'picture Paji ki hi hai' (the film belongs to the sardar).” The superstar also opened up about his experience of working with Aayush for the very first time. He stated, “When I am working, there are no sisters, husbands, nothing matters.”

Are you excited to watch the much anticipated clash between on-screen cop Salman and gangster Aayush?
