Anubhav Sinha Keen On Making Another Film On The Caste System, Taapsee Pannu Puts In A Request 'Is Baar Main Kar Lu?'

Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha expressed the need for more movies to be made on the Indian caste system in India in a recent tweet. After his film Article 15 won accolades for showcasing the evils of the caste system staring Ayushmann Khurrana now Taapsee Pannu has expressed that she would want to star in Anubhav’s next venture on the subject.

Anubhav and Taapsee have delivered powerful films like Mulk and more recently Thappad which were both acclaimed by the critics. On Anubhav’s tweet from Monday evening saying, ‘So very obviously, more films need to be made on the caste system in India. I, for one, certainly will’, Tappsee promptly replied asking to be a part ‘Is baar main kar lu ? [May I do it this time]’.

The filmmaker too was more than happy to give his blessing to Taapsee’s request and said, ‘Kar le baba tu kar le’.

Meanwhile, Anubhav is reuniting with his Article 15 star Ayushmann Khurrana for another political drama Anek. The movie was supposed to go on floors in April this year and release later in October but those plans were dampened by the ongoing pandemic.

Taapsee on the other hand is ready to get back to works as she recently announced she would resume shoot for her film Rashmi Rocket in November.
