Anup Jalota Emphasizes Sushant Singh Rajput's Death Not A National Issue, Hopes The Truth Emerges Soon

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and the investigation in the case is something that the nation cannot stop talking about. With the CBI probe in the case branching out into money laundering and drug probes people were simply taken aback at how much deeper the case could be. Even though nothing concrete has come out in the probe yet, everyone has their own understanding of the case and its importance and Anup Jalota is one of them.

Talking to IANS the singer said, "The Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty matter has been projected as a national issue but it is not a national issue. It is about an actor and his girlfriend who also happens to be an actor. It is not a national security issue that should be highlighted thus, and people hit the roads to protest against it. It is a matter related to people's sentiment."

The former Bigg Boss contestant also added emphasized he like many others hopes that truth prevails and Sushant’s family gets justice that they seek but again underlined the fact that it shouldn’t be made into a nationwide problem. "He (Sushant Singh Rajput) was a really good actor. I used to admire his work and I have met him on a few occasions. I feel connected to him but we shouldn't make his death a national issue. People related to him are trying to get justice for him, and I feel justice should be served as early as possible, and the truth should emerge,” Jalota told the agency.
