Anupam Kher Roped In For Amitabh Bachchan-Boman Irani’s Next With Sooraj Barjatya; Film To Be Called ‘Oonchai’

When it was reported that Amitabh Bachchan will be working with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya in his next film, fans were over the moon with joy. Sometime later it was revealed that the very talented Boman Irani has joined the cast and the film will revolve around their friendship. It was like a double treat. Well, latest reports have now revealed that Anupam Kher has also been roped in to play an important role in the much awaited project. The film, which is tentatively titled Oonchai, will be going on floors in September this year.

In a report shared by Pinkvilla, a source was quoted saying, “its titled Oonchai/Uchai signifying height and growth. Sooraj Ji’s titles have always been unique and even this one was finalized after contemplating on multiple other names for the film. It’s currently in the pre-production stage and the team is all charged up to take it on floors around the month of September 2021.”

Talking about Anupam Kher’s addition to the story, the source revealed that the tale can be expected to revolve around three to four friends, with Kher being one of them. Just like Senior Bachchan and Boman, Anupam too loved the story and instantly said yes to the project.
