Anurag Kashyap Shares A Picture Of Ranbir Kapoor From Bombay Velvet Looking Just Like The Legendary Raj Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor starred in Anurag Kashyap’s ambitious project Bombay Velvet in 2015. The film was a box office disaster but is exceptionally special to the filmmaker for a lot of reasons. Bombay Velvet completed 5 years in 2020 and the filmmaker had shared some unreleased posters of the film marking its anniversary. The director once again and shared a photo of Ranbir Kapoor and Satyadeep Mishra from the film and said that Ranbir looked just like his grandfather Raj Kapoor in it.

In the black and white still, it does look like it's the legendary Raj Kapoor at first glance and we are sure Ranbir would be flattered to hear it. The actor who carries on Raj Kapoor's legacy in Bollywood has earned a name in Bollywood for his nuanced performances.

 Anurag Kashyap captioned the post, "Love this picture from Bombay Velvet Ranbir here reminds me of Raj Kapoor and @instasattu is like a young Iftikhaar." 

It was not long before all the fans started to reminisce about the film and its memories. Many also agreed with Anurag Kashyap’s opinion.
