Anurag Kashyap Undergoes Surgery After Blockages Were Found In His Heart

Anurag Kashyap had been pretty busy before the second wave of the pandemic had forced us all to take another break. The director, and actor has been soaring high up in his career, with a film like AK VS AK last December and then directing Taapsee Pannu starrer Dobaaraa. But, his health seems to have taken a backseat. Anurag Kashyap had to be hospitalised and underwent a surgery recently!

Yes, if a report in Mid Day is to be believed, then Anurag Kashyap underwent angioplasty. He had to seek medical attention when he began to experience mild chest pain while working on the post-production of Dobaaraa. A source told the daily, “Late last week, Anurag complained of discomfort and decided to get it checked at the earliest. An angiography revealed a few blockages in his heart. He was immediately admitted for surgery.” The report further mentions that Anurag Kashyap is now doing well and has been advised complete rest for at least a week. Also, he has been told not to work until he recovers.

Well, that's a relief that Anurag is now doing well. He had wrapped up the shoot of Taapsee Pannu starrer, which also has Parvail Gulati, back in March. He was carrying on with the post production work from home.
