Anushka pens a 'no filter' post on husband Virat Kohli's birthday: 'No one who can pick themselves up from a dark place like you'

Anushka Sharma poured out her feeling in a loving post for husband Virat Kohli on his birthday. The Indian skipper who is currently leading the Indian cricket team in the ongoing T20 World Cup has been facing some flak on social media recently after the team lost two consecutive matches against Pakistan and New Zealand in the competition. Some have gone so far as to threaten the cricketer’s 9 months old daughter Vamika over the team’s performance.

Amidst such backlash, Anushka spoke of Virat’s courage and fearlessness in the face of despair in a long note while she shared a lovely picture of them on in an embrace on a beach smiling for the camera.

“No filter needed , for this photo and the way you lead your life . Your core is made of honesty and guts of steel . Courage that pales doubt into oblivion . I know no one who can pick themselves up from a dark place like you can . You grow better in every way because you hold on to nothing in you as permanent and are fearless,” Anushka started her note writing.

While Anushka has often shared pictures with Virat on social media, she definitely made clear through this one how the negativity doesn’t really affect them. “I know we are not ones to talk to each other through social media like this but sometimes I just want to scream and tell the world what an amazing man you are ♥️ Fortunate are those who really truly know you. Thank you for making everything brighter and more beautiful ♥️ Oh , and Happy Birthday cuteness,” she further added in the post wishing Virat who turned 33.
