Anushka Sharma Shares Her Opinion On Comparisons Between Paatal Lok And Sacred Games

Paatal Lok is one of the latest web series which has been winning the audiences’ hearts amid the coronavirus lockdown. Produced by Anushka Sharma’s banner Clean Slate Films, the crime thriller released on Amazon Prime on 15^th May and features an incredibly talented star cast including Jaideep Ahlawat, Gul Panag, Neeraj Kabi, Swastika Mukherjee, Ishwak Singh and Abhishek Banerjee. While it mostly received positive reviews and many termed it as a ‘gripping watch’, the show was constantly compared to Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Sacred Games.

In fact, many fans claimed that there were a lot of similarities between the two web shows. Well, Anushka Sharma finally decided to share her opinion about the same in a chat with Pinkvilla. She said people always find some commonality in things but when you watch both the shows you will realize how different they are from one another. The actress also shared that both Paatal Lok and Sacred Games are credible in their own way. Anushka further stated, “I think a lot of good work is being done for the OTT platform and I'm very appreciative of it.”

Paatal Lok follows the story of Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary, a washed out Delhi cop who lands a big case which can completely change his life. However, it soon turns into a mystery thriller and he begins unraveling truths which teach him the larger meaning of life.
