It's a happy day for Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and husband and cricketer Virat Kohli. The two became parents today afternoon to a baby girl. The cricketer took to social media to announce the happy news and also informed that both Anushka and the baby are healthy and doing great. The name of the baby girl is yet to be revealed, but if reports are to be believed, then the parents have already named the newborn.

According to a report in PeepingMoon, the newborn has been named 'Anvi'. A source even told the portal that the name has been registered in the hospital records.

Anvi is another name of goddess Mahalaxmi. It also refers to the goddess of the forest. We are not sure if it is true, but it is a beautiful name, to say the least. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma received congratulatory messages from around the world. Informing the happy news, Virat had written, "We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives."
