Anushka Sharma’s First Digital Production – ‘Paatal Lok’, Shot In 110 Locations In 6 Indian Cities

Anushka Sharma has now ventured into producing web series with Paatal Lok. The series has been directed by Sudeep Sharma and is all set to drop on Amazon Prime Video on the 15^th May, ’20.

According to a Mid-Day report, the series was shot in 110 different locations over 6 cities. The report quotes a Sudip Sharma as saying, "We wanted to explore different cultures, and perspectives, and [narrate] tales from various regions of India. The idea was to present to the audience what they possibly didn't know, or at least, in a manner they weren't familiar with. It is set in parts of Delhi and Punjab," quipped he.

The series revolves around the chasing of four suspects involved in the assassination of a renowned journalist. The premise of the web series also seems to have borrowed quite a bit from reality.
