Arjun Kapoor And Rakul Preet Singh Starrer Cross-Border Film's Shoot Cancelled After Former Tests Positive For COVID-19

Arjun Kapoor had been back on sets just a few days back. Unfortunately, he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus and is now down with COVID-19. The actor is asymptomatic and recovering, however, the shoot of his upcoming film with Rakul Preet Singh now stands cancelled.

The makers of the cross-border love story had revealed plans to resume the shoot from this week. In fact, it was supposed to be shot from September 10th. The prep was on and Arjun had expressed how glad he is to be back to work. But now, new dates are being worked upon. According to a report in Mirror, shoot was to be done around the city from Thursday, but now has been cancelled and fresh dates would be allotted for the film's shoot.

Just a few weeks back, the makers had also revealed John Abraham and Aditi Rao Hydari's look from the film. They would play a couple from the 1940s who were separated due to partition but would find closure with the help of Arjun's character. Rakul had also revealed how happy she was to be back to work. Looks like she would also have to wait a little longer. Apart from the untitled film, Arjun would also be seen in Bhoot Police alongside Saif Ali Khan. We are praying for his speedy recovery.
