Arjun Kapoor Feels Saif Starrer Bhoot Police Lands In The Middle Of Go Goa Gone And Stree; Calls It ‘Cerebral’

Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are all set to unite on-screen for the very first time in their upcoming film Bhoot Police. Also starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam and Javed Jaffrey, it is reportedly a horror comedy. However, according to Arjun the film is much more than that-- an adventure of two brothers, a story of brotherhood. Well, back in February the team announced that Bhoot Police will arrive in theatres on 10^th September this year.

In a recent chat with Bollywood Life, Arjun revealed juicy details of the film. He was quoted saying, “It's an origin story of Bhoot Police, how Bhoot Police becomes. So, it's quite fascinating to go into this space and I think it's a very credible, commercial horror-comedy, in the sense that it's not itemised, it's more story and character driven, it's more driven by a particular situation they find themselves in and what happens around them rather than a situation with gags after gags; it's not deigned like that.”

He went on to add, “It's a little more cerebral and it's still got its own goofiness, but you'll have fun watching it. It lands somewhere in the middle of Go Goa Gone and Stree, I feel.”

A few reports suggested that Bhoot Police, along with many other upcoming films, may take the digital route. However, no confirmation has been shared yet by the team so we will just have to wait and watch what happens.
