Arjun Kapoor Opens Up About Feeling Comfortable In The Industry And Being Considered A ‘Loner’

One of the most handsome and talented actors of the Hindi film industry, Arjun Kapoor made his acting debut in 2012 with Aditya Chopra’s Ishaqzaade, opposite Parineeti Chopra. However, he began his Bollywood journey much before his debut film released. For the uninitiated, Arjun started his career as an assistant director on Nikhil Advani's Kal Ho Naa Ho in 2003. Even though he hails from a film family and was introduced to the glitz and glamour many years ago, Arjun took his time to get comfortable in the entertainment industry.

Talking about the same in a chat with TOI, the actor shared, “I have been in and out of the film industry because of my parents, so I am used to of scrutiny of my personal life; it and it never gets to me, I have learned the art to bargain out of it when I chose to. So I have to embrace what comes with the territory. Some people think I am a loner by nature but I have a selective bunch of friends and they happen to be from the industry, whether it is Ranveer, Ranbir or Varun, so main dur bhagna bhi chahu toh kitna bhagu industry se.”

While Arjun has had his share of ups and downs, he always emerged as a true warrior. He was last seen as Sadashiv Rao Bhau in Panipat and now fans are eagerly waiting for him to shine on the big screen again! Arjun will next be seen in Dibakar Banerjee’s much-awaited dark comedy Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, in which he will reunite with his good friend Parineeti.
