Arjun Kapoor Opens Up On Why Sandeep And Pinky Faraar Hasn’t Yet Released

It has been a long time since Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra wrapped up their film, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.  The Yash Raj Film directed by Dibakar Banerjee found itself amidst a lot of chaos and this is the reason why the release date for the film is being postponed time and again! The film was supposed to release last year, then it was supposed to release this year and now according to media reports, the release of the film this year too has been delayed.

According to a media portal, the makers now plan on releasing the film in the second half of this year. Arjun Kapoor was is kind of wary about the release told the media publication, they couldn’t find a proper release window for the film. Quipped he, “Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is a unique multiplex film and we need a window of opportunity to release it. Namaste England was ready in the time Dibakar sir was cutting the film. So, we pushed it for later as we needed a gap between the two films.”

He further disclosed that the makers did not want to lock horns with any other film at the box-office. The report further quoted the actor as saying, "Then, Luka Chuppi and Sonchiriya happened to be opening on the same date that we had decided for Sandeep Aur Pinky... Why would you want to get into a three-way tussle? The film is ready and it’s just a matter of releasing it at the right time."
