Arjun Kapoor Pens A Heartbreaking Note For His Late Mother As He Completes 9 Years As An Actor

Arjun Kapoor is a terrific actor. But he’s much more than that. He is also a pillar of support to his filmmaker father Boney Kapoor and a protective and loving brother to Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi. However, more than anything else he is a doting son to his late mother Mona Shourie Kapoor. Not a day passes by when he doesn’t miss her, and Mother’s Day was no different. While the rest of the world celebrated the occasion by posting throwback pictures with their mom along with long captions, Arjun penned a heartbreaking note a day later.

Along with a snap from happier days featuring him and his beautiful mom, Arjun shared how much he hated Mother’s Day and how lost he feels without her. In the picture, the actor is walking in front while his mother walks behind him. Arjun wrote: “Yesterday was Mother’s Day I hated every bit of it.... Tomorrow is 9 years of me being an actor but I’m still lost without you Mom. Just like in this picture I hope ur smiling watching over me & u got my back...”

He began his journey in the Hindi film industry as an assistant director with Nikhil Advani’s Kal Ho Naa Ho. However, he made his debut as an actor with Ishaqzaade 9 years ago today. Also starring Parineeti Chopra, the romantic action film garnered several awards including awards for Best Male Debut and Hall of Fame Rising Star. We wish Arjun all the very best for the future as we wait to see him shine again on-screen.
