Arjun Kapoor Plans To Stay In Bollywood For 90 More Years; Says ‘I Know My Self-Worth’

A day after Mother’s Day, actor Arjun Kapoor penned a heartbreaking note for his late mother Mona Shourie Kapoor. He shared that he hated every bit of the day and went on to add that even though he was completing 9 years in the film industry the next day, he still felt lost without her. Arjun made his debut in Bollywood in 2012 with Ishaqzaade opposite Parineeti Chopra, almost a month after his mother’s demise. It was a tough time for him but he worked hard and focused on his career. Today he is one of the most popular actors of the industry.

In a chat with Zoom TV, Arjun opened up about completing 9 years in Bollywood as an actor. He was quoted saying, “Today it's my ninth year, today is nine years since Ishaqzaade. I've been here nine years and I'll be here 90 more years and that's pretty much what I know whether it's being in front of the camera or behind it. I'm far better than most people on social media will give me credit for because I'm an easy target. I live with certain regard and respect and I don't indulge in giving back and talking and trying to talk myself up.”

He went on to share that he’s a commercially successful actor for the most part of his career and knows his self worth. Arjun explained, “I know my value...but I'll always know my worth and no hit or flop or somebody saying two good things or two bad things will change what I feel for myself and you need to hold on to that in this profession that's why you can survive and I know I'll survive.”

The actor will next be seen in Sardar Ka Grandson as Amreek Singh. Also starring Rakul Preet Singh and Neena Gupta, the romantic drama will premiere on Netflix on 18th May.
