Ashutosh’s sudden disappearance from a Mumbai event causes panic in the media!

It was a star-studded evening at the Sea Princess Hotel in Juhu (a Mumbai suburb), where the media and the film personalities had gathered for the press conference of the trailer and music launch of a film. The film is touted to be the directorial debut of Ismail Darbar (well, to those of you who would think of Ismail Darbar the music director is fatally wrong!) This Ismail has no connection whatsoever with him!

Well the film is titled, “Yeh Kaisa Tigdam,” Ashutosh Rana and Ajaz Khan have been cast in the film. However, turned out that only Ashutosh was present for the event!

Songs for the fi were being played on a huge LCD in the auditorium that was made to simulate a cinema hall. While most of the people were busy ogling at the half-naked ladies on screen, Ashutosh got a call which got him tensed. He looked at his phone and answered the call in whispers. His brow tightened and he whisked himself away from the midst of the gathering, little did anyone notice though.

Finally, the song got over and I was gradually coming back to my senses, (Apparently, I became unconscious while the song was being played) and so were the lights in the auditorium. Things had turned out pretty organised up until the time when the organisers invited Ashutosh up on stage to receive a gift for gracing the event.

The organisers had already announced rana’s name and he was nowhere to be found. People started looking high and low for him, some even thought he might have left midway! People looked around, there were tightened eyebrows, panicked faces and fuming expressions but no one could yell or make any comment that would convey disappointment. Well, Ashutosh was a known face and was the chief guest of the occasion. How could they?

Well anyway, after a little hullaballoo off sorts, a figure was seen cutting through the crowd towards the podium and the same faces which were panicked and borderline grief-stricken had smiles beaming!

You guessed it! Ashutosh was finally done with the call and he walked up to the podium and received his award. The press for some bizzare bombarded him with questions regarding nepotism. However very calmly he said, he doesn’t believe it is in anyway wrong. His argument was why would I just help other to gain a ground in the industry when I have my own son and daughter trying to make a mark in the industry? “When it is there in the family line for ages, it is quite obvious that the generation to come will also be part of the same industry. I don’t understand the hue and cry around this!

The actor who prefers to speak in Hindi instead of English further thundered, “This [[phenomenon has been a part of our culture since decades! A doctor’s son is expected to be a doctor, an engineer’s son is expected to be an engineer, so isn’t it obvious that someone from the film industry will expect his children to be part of the profession as well?!

Well, we at Desimartini.com can’t agree more to the statement made by the actor, however we can’t also negate the fact that the film industry is for all and sundry. Just because one belongs to a film background, doesn’t really mean that genuine talent will be pushed away in the abyss!
