Australia dances to Bollywood music at IFFM 2017
After the star studded award night where very known faces of Bollywood were present to honor the winners. Followed by was the magical performance of Kakkar sisters which are very well-known in Bollywood for their different way of performing. Also, for the first time in Melbourne a Bollywood actress hosted the Indian Flag at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2017, it was hosted by global icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan alongside her daughter Aaradhya.
Like every year this year as well IFFM hosted the Telstra Bollywood Dance Competition to celebrate India’s tradition for Music, Color, and Dance. This competition was judged by Malaika Arora, Karan Johar and the special surprise guest was Sushant Singh Rajput who was felicitated as the Best Actor for M.S. Dhoni. This competition had various performances on Bollywood songs performed by different dance and age groups from around Australia, which were enjoyed by each and every audience there.
