Avantika Malik Wanted Imran Khan To Continue Acting Reveals Her Father As He Reacts To Actor's Decision To Quit

Imran Khan’s decision to quit acting in favor of direction has been quite a startling revelation for many after his friend Akshay Oberoi confirmed the news in an interview recently.  Apart from biding goodbye to his acting career, Imran has lately made headlines for his troubled personal life as him and his wife Avantika Malik have reportedly separated.

Now, Imran’s father-in-law Ranjev Malik has stated that Imran always was more interested in directing films than acting and told ETimes, "Honestly, it's Imran's personal decision and it's not my domain either. But yes, Imran was always inclined towards direction right from the days he went to a film school." He added, “He's working on it and will make it happen."

Malik in not many words also expressed that Avantika wanted Imran to continue with acting instead of switching gears and asked if he discussed his decision to quit acting and move on to direction he revealed that Imran did not but he’s not one to interfere in his career.

The report also claims that Avantika wanted Imran to produce films and act in them. Ranjev on being asked if there’s any scope of reconciliation between the estranged couple simply said that it was their personal matter.
