Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Virat Kohli And Kriti Sanon Come Together To Raise Awareness About Fake News

The entire world is going through an incredibly tough time right now. The coronavirus outbreak has struck almost every corner and the nationwide lockdown has been extended to help stop the spread. But there’s one other pandemic that many of us have been ignoring, a problem that needs to be stopped before it completely takes over the society and affects the citizens of our nation. We are talking about the pandemic of spreading fake news and false forwarded messages.

Bollywood stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and cricketer Virat Kohli came together to raise awareness for the same and created a special video which will spread the important message amongst fans. In this short clip, which was shot at their individual houses, the four celebrities can be seen sitting at a coffee table as they discuss how deadly fake messages and rumors can be. Along with the video, they penned the caption: “No one thought they'd catch it, no one thought it would become a pandemic. But we can change this and the change begins with you. #MatKarForward.”

This may seem like a very petty thing to many, but the message shared through this video is as important as social-distancing is amid coronavirus outbreak. We hope it is able to raise awareness and put a stop to the spread of misinformation.
