    Ayushmann Khurrana's Dream Girl Co-Star Ryinku Singh Nikumbh Passes Away After Contracting COVID

    The novel COVID-19 virus has claimed yet another life of a member of the Hindi film industry. Today, Ayushmann Khurrana's co-star from Dream Girl, Ryinku Singh Nikumbh, succumbed to the virus and passed away.

    The heartbreaking news was shared by one of the late actor's childhood friends on social media. She wrote, "Shattered! Ryinku Singh Nikumbh 30+ years of friendship. Will keep you in my heart forever."

    Talking to BollywoodLife, her cousin sister revealed that she had tested positive on May 25th despite taking the first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine. She was admitted to the ICU and suffered from asthma, which led to further complications. She said, On May 25, she had tested positive and was under home isolation. Since her fever was not coming down, we decided to shift her to a hospital after a few days. In the hospital, the doctors didn’t feel that she required an ICU bed and she was in a normal COVID ward initially. The next day, she was shifted to the ICU. She was recovering well in the ICU as well until the day of her demise. In the end, she was losing hope and felt that she couldn’t survive. She was an Asthma patient as well."

    Ryinku was also a part of Hello Charlie and several TV shows. May her soul rest in peace.
