One of the biggest and most adored superstars of the South film industry, Prabhas garnered a huge fan following thanks to his performance and killer action sequences in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. He went on to successfully make a mark in Bollywood last year with Saaho opposite Shraddha Kapoor, and is now all set to win our hearts once again with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior director Om Raut’s next film Adipurush. Buzz suggests that Prabhas will play Lord Ram’s role in the much-awaited epic action drama.

Well in a recent chat with TOI, SS Rajamouli shared his review of Adipurush’s first look. He was all praises for Prabhas as he stated, “I saw the first-look of the film long ago and I believe Prabhas fits the role of Lord Ram perfectly. There is no better time for him to portray this character. Weeks ago we saw the entire country reverberate with Lord Ram’s chant during the Bhumi Puja in Ayodhya. I think the country will enjoy seeing Prabhas playing the role. I have heard about the film and I think it’s going to be great.”

Other than Prabhas’ Adipurush, fans are also eagerly waiting for Rajamouli’s next directorial RRR. Talking about the same, the filmmaker shared, “We are all waiting to go back to shoot but I’m waiting for the doctor’s advice on it. We have already released Ram Charan’s first-look and are yet to release Jr NTR’s. Once we begin shoot, we will immediately shoot Tarak’s part and maybe even release the teaser in ten days. We will also be able to release the film six to seven months after shooting commences. But there’s a lot of uncertainty still.”

Featuring N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris, RRR is a period action drama film, which is based on the story of India's freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
