Babil Khan Shares Pictures Of Late Actor Irrfan's Quaint Home In Madh Island Covered In Memories Of His Work And Family

Irrfan Khan’s son Babil has been sharing several cherished memories with his father on social media ever since he demise in April 2020. Babil who himself aspires to be an actor like his dad has in his posts often spoken about Irrfan’s love for the craft and has now shared pictures of the actor’s home in Madh Island by the beach where they lived before moving into the city.

The room has countless memories covering the walls and shelves associated with the actor’s family, and films like Paan Singh Tomar, Maqbool, Billu, Life of Pi.  Sharing these pictures from Irrfan’s cosy room Babil wrote in a long note with lessons in acting from his dad that he remembers.

“This is my father’s old room near the beach before we shifted to the city. This is where he did most of his work. Studying acting now, I think of one of the ideas that he used to implement; that the craft has immense emotional similarities to playing around as a child.”

Recalling memories from his own childhood Babil relives his own experiences in the house and wrote, “At age 9, when you hold that cricket bat inside the walls of your room, you can feel a stadium roar and see a bowler rushing to knock your head off. When I held that nerf gun in my hands, my father’s empty room always echoed in the silence of Madh Island, but in that moment I was John Wick surrounded by bad guys with machine guns, gunshots everywhere, and you can hear them, you know? I was a woman once, after watching chak de India and I’d get excited dribbling around imaginary defenders and then really shoot that solid ball with my hockey stick and I’d break something. Oh I’d always break something, ma would get so pissed. I think you’ve got to find the child in you and keep it alive, no matter how old you get.”

Fans have over the years witness the late actor’s brilliance shine on screen and seeing these photos of the place he did most of his work at we are definitely reminded of his genius which his son to can be seen soaking in to improve his own craft and carry on the legacy.
