Akshay Kumar has always been one of the highest-paid actors of the nation, who makes it to the Forbes highest-paid list as well. He is a workoholic, who has films after films in his kitty. Given the hard work he puts, and the value he has attached with all his films turning out to be superhits, it's understandable that his fee would be quite high! Now, we have learnt that the actor has slashed his fees for the upcoming film, Bachchan Pandey.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Akshay Kumar generally charges something between Rs. 110 to Rs. 120 crores. A source said, “Akshay and Sajid go down a long way and their friendship has stood the test of times from the 1990s. While Akshay’s market value per film is around Rs 110 to Rs 120 crore, he couldn’t say a no to Sajid’s request to cut down on the fees for Bachchan Pandey considering the pandemic situation. The two finally zeroed in on Rs 99 crore as the acting fees for Akshay.” He also added that both consider 9 as their lucky numbers too!

Well, it was also being said that he charged Rs. 120 crores for Bell Bottoms. The actor has quite a few upcoming films in his kitty including Sorryavanshi, Prithviraj, Atrangi Re, Rakshabandhan, Mission Lion and Ram Setu. He has also been approached to play Suheldev in the adaptation of Amish Tripathi's novel.
