Bachchan Pandey: Gaurav Chopraa To Make His Debut With The Akshay Kumar Starrer, Will Play The Antagonist

The cast of Bachchan Pandey seems to be ever-expanding. After the lead stars, Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon's names were announced, celebs like Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez and Abhimanyu Singh have joined the cast. Now, yet another TV star's name has been associated with the Farhad Samji film. In fact, the film would mark his debut in Bollywood. we are talking about none other Gaurav Chopraa.

Yes, Gaurav Chopraa is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar's Bachchan Pandey. He would play an antagonist in the film. Confirming the news to BTimes, he said, “I feel extremely fortunate to be cast in a film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It doesn’t get better than this for a debut. To find someone like Farhad (Samji) sir as a director was great. He literally held my hand through it because I had a lot of questions and doubts. He gave me confidence and brought me into the film.”

The actor reached Jaisalmer, where the cast is currently station, on February 18th to shoot for his parts. Gaurav added, “Debuting in a film that has Akshay Kumar sir is a privilege. As the antagonist of the film and to stand up against him, I needed that confidence that Farhad sir, Akshay sir, and Sajid sir gave me on the set in Jaisalmer. They made me feel at home, although the entire ensemble cast and crew had been shooting for at least 50 days before I joined them.”
