Badhaai Ho Actress Surekha Sikri Is Stable Now, Needs Physiotherapy; Returned Home After Being Discharged

Veteran actress Surekha Sikri, who won our hearts as Ayushmann Khurrana’s adorable daadi in Badhaai Ho, returned home a few days ago after being discharged from the hospital. She was rushed to Juhu's Criticare hospital earlier this month after she suffered a brain stroke. She was admitted to the ICU and it was reported that she was critical but stable. However, it was later revealed that her response to treatment was faint and slow as she had an acute stroke.

According to a report shared by ETimes, Surekha ji is much better now and returned home a few days ago after being discharged. A hospital official was quoted saying, “Surekhaji went home, day before yesterday, on September 22.” Dr Ashutosh Shetty, who was treating the actress, also confirmed, “Surekhaji has improved from the time she suffered the stroke. She recognises people. She is even walking with support. Of course, she will need time before she can resume working and needs physiotherapy now.”

Surekha ji’s trusted caretaker and nurse Pinky stated that the family had forbidden her to talk about the actress’ condition. However, she revealed that Surekha ji is stable now and they returned home on the evening of 22^nd September. Well, we wish the veteran superstar a speedy recovery!
